Karene's parteeeeee

Awesome partee! Wongs Mich Wah and me were present and we settled down to play our favourite-game-during-special-occasions -- charades but no drawing just verbal descriptions. So our theme = couples. Mich/Wah Me/Wongs. We played taboo first. Mich out of excitement kept on saying the forbidden words haha. So me/wongs were on a roll/in sync/goodchemistry then we won. later we played verbal pictionary. timer is hour glass so very fast got pressure. don't know why it became like this:

Word is [orphan]
Me: okok er when your parents passed away what are you called????
Wongs: ah weeper!
Me: hah?? nono!! when your parents eniao(4)!
Wongs: loner!
Wah: -laugh until mouth cramp-

Word is [Monday]:
Wongs: ok! tuesday wednesday thursday friday saturday sunday left what??
-halfway during her very lengthy description times up already-
Me: What days you said arh?
Wah: Cannot say day after sunday meh?
HAHAHAHA

Word is [biscuit tin]:
Me: okok eh ahma like to keep money in this then put beside the pillow to sleep one
Wongs: biscuit case!! got the i-am-very-sure-i'm-right-face
Me: okay skip
THINK WHAT BRIEF-CASE ARH HAHAHA

Word is [government]:
Me: ok PAP is the what of Singapore??
Wongs: -stares blankly- er.....federation!!

Word is [english]:
Me: Whats the opposite of chinese???
Wongs: Malay!
Me: No!
Wongs: Indian!

Word is [dolphin]

Word is [mermaid]
Wongs: if you dress as this in a costume party you cannot move/walk one
Me: hah??
Wongs: human fish!!
Me: orh!! mermaid la!

Word is [gossip]
Wongs: ah! the show that i like to watch, what girls?
Me: ?
Me: the talkative girls!

hahaha. it was quite late already and all of us had a long day so it's not coz we are dumb we just can't think heh.

On a separate note, i really hate the junta [Burma's government]. OMG they are fucking refusing help. argh! there are like 2 million burmese affected and the aiders only helped like 200,000. Somemore a red cross ship with supplies hit don't know what and sank before the food could reach those starving ones. I had a maid who is from burma she prays every night for Aung San Suu Kyi [opposition leader] to overthrow the current military-led govt. it's really very sad. they are like setting up checkpoints to interrogate foreigners on their purpose in coming to the country [obviously to help right?!] coz they are very paranoid about the possibility of attacks from other countries and i'm very amazed that no one has done so yet. The freaky thing is the junta was situated in Rangoon and recently they moved to a new capital, which is higher up near the mountains i think and the cyclone hit Rangoon badly, but did not affect the new capital at all. what logic is this. The junta has 450,000 soldiers. Just 1 country volunteer abit of brave men then can come up with that amount already what to fight them. Teamwork peeps. haha paiseh very naive.

Sounds to motivate volunteers in China and Burma:

Something to believe in - Aqualung
Yellow - Coldplay
Livin on a prayer - Bon Jovi
Could it be any harder - The Calling
Feels like home - Chantal Kreviazuk

STEREOPHONICS

What an AWESOME day! With a capital A!!!! Firstly everybadi my prac test on 7Aug! Hope to pass it 1st time round though.

Then its concert time! Nina's friend was a very nice guy who braved the wind blow rain hit to queue up and we got FRONT ROW i wanna say seats but its more of STANDING PLACE.

Look at the bloody view! i can smell the guitars from here.

Well Great Spy Experiment opened for Stereophonics at 8 o'clock, hosts were Rosalyn Lee and Shan Wee. They were slightly entertaining but seriously was waiting for Kelly and friends! GSE were not bad actually, its just that the timing was off. Maybe in baybeats i would love to hear them. Its really pretty sad to open for bands, knowing that every cheer is not for you.

AND HERE THEY ARE! Starting with Bank Holiday Monday. They were changing guitars for every song la i don't really see the point in that not as if they strum until spoil but WHO CARES ITS COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Sexiest Man Tonight: Kelly Jones. Freaking looks like a turtle here.

The Drummer: Hugh Grant. Seriously he looks like Mr Grant, just a younger and pec-ful version. He was HALF-NAKED throughout the concert. Seriously they should all do that. You are here to perform why wear clothes right. Haha he's Javier Weyler what a cute guy. But this shitty man threw his drumsticks at those drunk caucasians :(

Kelly sexy again, on one of his countless guitar solos.

Man on bass: Richard Jones. He is one forgotten man, and i don't think he is related to Kelly Jones.

Ohhhhhhhhhh Connie i lurvvvvvvvve yoouuuuuuuuuuuuu

One of their touring man. I have super duper no idea who he is. But very rude to leave him out haha. There is this keyboardist Tom something his birthday today got a bunch of bimbotic girls served cake and stood around acting chio. SIAO i'd have grabbed Hugh Grant's pecs and take pictures with it.

sigh. :)

WOW

Hello my dear dear friends i have a BLOG. It just seems like the in thing to do. If i don't update after this post it's because i'm shy and a naturally quiet person. YEAH RIGHT. It's because i have fallen into deep deep sleep and will not wake up after several weeks. This feels weird its like im talking to the screen. and the typing certainly improves. i keep spelling definitely as definately so im using certainly.

List of things to do after exams

- go and shove rowdy boys at Stereophonics concert
- concentrate very hard and pass driving because nowadays people keep passing on their first try there is peer pressure
- watch liverpool win the Champions League for the gazillionth time
- hang out
- read witty(bimbo) books
- intensive workout - mich's plan of tennis and running. she included swimming but i think i'll
panic and drown
- repair my laptop. i want to reformat but apparently the b******* at eight flags only guarantee hardware not software

Now that i am like almost graduating i feel like i wanna dive right back into my books again. reading textbooks makes me a kid. i mean yes working provides you the luxury you'll never enjoy if you are just a student unless your parents print money but at a very heavy price. you'll have to squeeze in mrts early in the morning say 8am, facing your fellow commuters who are mostly asleep or reading the paper or just staring into space. you have the i-dread-work face and you thought you hid it quite well, but you didn't and you see it in everyone. sometimes they fall asleep while standing and they drop something or fall, and you laugh, and that will be the highlight of your day. sometimes they have dried saliva stains on the side of their mouths and you cringe at the sight of it. how sad is that.

to more important things : TEEVEE SHOWS! im so gonna repeat the l word, followed by another repeat, and finally a concluding repeat. if that's not enough there's always encore repeat.

this season is fark funny. and look how pretty tina is! bloody amazing. then it's brothers and sisters, a show with super damn alot of pretty chicks and hansum bois although they are siblings

then there is the oc and oth repeats, lastly friends. they are last because i've watched each episode at least 5 times and it's getting boring and friends cannot get boring because its funny. so only solution not to watch it till the jokes sound fresh and brand new. the mind forgets easily.
